Best electric guitar for rich tones?
I have been looking at Ibanez because they are sort of cheap but also good quality it looks like. I want to get an electric guitar that has a very rich sort of acoustic quality to it. Also I need it to be under 350$. I have been looking at semi hollow and hollow body electric guitars. am I looking in the right direction. can someone please help me with this search. is there any good cheap guitars anyone knows of. I also really want something with a classic rock sound. Here is the guitar that I am looking at:

the artcore is a very nice guitar for the price.
also, the epiphone dot is excellent for rich tones too. just make sure you play it through a good amp or it’s pointless.
Hollow-body electric guitars? Gretsch?
I currently have an alright acoustic and a cheaper Stratocaster (ie not the 2000 dollar ones). I am thinking of saving up over the next year or so to expand my guitars to possibly an electric hollow-body. I really love the idea of one and was looking and fell in love with the Gretsch electromatic G5-122 and G5-120, especillay the bigsby whammy bars.. These are in the range of 600 to 900 dolars. So does anyone know how good these are and any other great guitars? the prices stated earlier would be top spending for me.
Gretsch are classics, but their lowend models aren’t as good as their top ones (of couse).
For that money you can get something better from Hagstrom or Ibanez.
I don’t care for Bigsbies (or other tremelos) myself, but Ibanez has several models that are fitted with them.
If you want a very nice instrument for a very decent price, you could do worse than look at the Ibanez AF75 (there is a version with a Bigsby as well).
